Club Rides – Sunday 6th Jan

From Martyn Lock – SUNDAY CLUB RIDES 6th JAN

After collecting the views of several of the usual ride leaders, we are going to try something a bit different from this week onwards. The main problems generally highlighted from last year were that people were in the wrong groups. i.e faster riders dropping down and trying to speed the group up, and slower riders not prepared for the pace of the faster groups. So, whilst we are never going to get it spot on I will post the ride leader, approx mileage and where they are going only. On Sunday the ride leaders will give a brief description of the route, terrain, approx speed etc in order for everyone to make an informed choice. As always rides are subject to change due to numbers and weather but here are this Sundays proposed groups – 

Graeme Boswell will take the fast group to Llangattock. 75 miles

Tim Rich will take middle group 1 to Maesteg. 65 miles

Mark Chichester will take middle group 2 to Chepstow. 65 miles

Nia James will take steady group 1 to Usk. 55 miles

Bernard Brown will take the beginners group. 30-40 miles
