Club Rides Sunday 2nd September

Here are the routes and ride leaders for Sunday. As we have several riders competing in the 12 hour TT race on the Hereford-Raglan loop, we thought it made sense to take some of the rides to the Usk valley to support them. The fast and intermediate groups will do the Usk-Raglan-Usk loop in the opposite direction to the TT (at different speeds of course), and Tim`s middle group will come into Usk from Llangwm and pass the TT going out from Usk to Gwernesney. (hopefully) 

FAST GROUP with Graeme Boswell

Maindy, A48 to Newport, Caerleon, Usk, Chainbridge, Raglan, Gwernesney, Usk, Newport(via flood rd), Newport Flats, Maindy. 65 miles rolling. There is no coffee stop planned but if the majority would like to stop then Graeme is happy to do so.

MIDDLE GROUP with Tim Rich

Maindy, A48 to Newport, Langstone, Crick, Shirenewton, Usk Garden Centre(coffee), Caerleon, Newport, A48 back to Maindy. 62 miles lumpy out rolling back.

INTERMEDIATE GROUP with Martyn Lock

Maindy, Newport Flats, Caerleon, Usk, Chainbridge, Raglan Garden Centre(coffee), Gwernesney, Usk, Newport(via flood rd), A48 back to Maindy. 65 miles rolling.

STEADY GROUP with Martyn Stallard

A48 to Newport, Caerleon, Usk Garden Centre(coffee), Newport(via flood rd), Newport Flats, Maindy. 50 miles rolling.

Darren Gill and Lisa Chichester will be standing by if any groups need to split.
