Club Rides – Sunday 21st April
Over the past few weeks, apart from the leisure ride, I have ridden with every group and it is quite clear that all groups are improving rapidly. I rode with the so called steady group last week and it is now unfair to call that group steady as all they needed was a little encouragement to really get them going.
From next week onwards groups will be numbered with 1 being the fastest and so on down to the current leisure ride.
Whilst it will always be the riders choice as to which group they want to go with, all riders are actively encouraged to try a faster group.
With that in mind, I have arranged the rides this Sunday so that the 2 faster rides will follow the same route and the next 2 rides will also follow the same route. This will make it somewhat easier for riders to step up to a faster group safe in the knowledge that if the going gets too tough there will be another group coming behind to sweep them up.
