Club Rides – Sunday 13th Jan

OK the weather forecast is somewhat unsettled for the weekend with the talk of snow and ice but here are the provisional groups for this Sunday which are as always subject to change. I will give more details about each ride on Sunday.

Alex Tuck will lead the Fast group to Monmouth and back around 80 miles. As this route is generally flat and rolling it may be an opportunity for Middle 1 riders to step up to the Fast group. Coffee stop in Raglan if required.

Darren Gill will lead the Middle 1 group to Chepstow and back around 65 miles with a long drag up to Llangwm from Chepstow. Coffee stop in Usk.

Martyn Lock will lead the Middle 2 group to Cowbridge and back around 56 miles. This ride is a climbfest and the route is tough but will be ridden at the pace of the slowest rider. If you are an impatient rider this is not for you as there is likely to be lots of re-grouping. Well earned coffee stop in Cowbridge.

After listening to some of the comments from last week we are trying this week to offer 2 steady group rides.

Lisa Chichester will lead the Steady group 1 to Llantwit Major and back around 55 miles. This group will be for riders who would like to go a little faster than the normal steady group and this route will include some climbing.

Graeme Donnan will lead the Steady group 2 to Ewenny and back around 55 miles. Graeme will choose the route on the day subject to who is in the group and the mileage can be reduced if applicable.
