Club Hill Climb 2011
Updated results from the club hill climb championships on 06/11/2011
It was a beautiful morning – dry and sunny!
We had a good turn out with 38 riders and a good crowd of spectators.
The route was the same as last year – from the entrance to Castell Coch up to Castell Height’s Golf Course.
Thank you to Darren and Sandra for organising, all the marshalls and everyone who came out to support.
The overall winner was David Medhurst, with a time of 5 minutes 45 seconds, with Gareth Barns getting a close second. Hanneke van der Werf won the female competition with a time of 7 minutes 50 seconds. There were also some fast times from the Maindy Flyers – the junior winner was Owen Thomas. Tom Jacquemet did an impressive ride, towing his two boys in a trailer!
